Well done to all the seapark members that have been taking part in recent events.

The 4th race in the East Antrim trail series was on 23rd June, this was a 4 mile race around Woodburn forest – seapark results are – Reg Kapur 29:39, Gary Connolly 33:44 and Helen Brown 35:08

3 members also ran the Lisburn Half marathon on 17th June, results were – Rob Gordon 1:31:06, Stephen Hamilton 1:44:22 and Pauline Smyth with a time of 1:54:30.

Albertville 5k on 3rd June – Reg Kapur 19:35, Gary Connolly 22:46, Vivean Davidson 27:26

Many thanks to you all for organising a really well laid out run complete with proper k markers. Also great to see a time clock at the finish under a really noticeable start and finish banner ! Water at around 3 miles (i think!) really good and bottles - miles better than plastic glasses. Even at prize giving you had insight to put out cones when traffic from roundabout to point started becoming problem. Well done for that . Ok got lucky with weather but the rest was down to real preparation from a real running club! well done and many thanks. Barry Coleman and Kevin Mawhinney.

Results are now available for download for the SeaparkAC 10k Race on 31st May 2009. Well done everyone on possibly the hottest day of the year! We had over 290 entrants, so thank you all and we’ll see you next year, Sunday 30th May 2010 for an even bigger and better race!

We have changed the Registration location the ‘THE POINT’ Restaurant which is beside the main carpark at Carrickfergus Castle/Marina. This will be well signposted.

The countdown is on until Seapark AC’c first race in Carrickfergus on Sunday 31st May at 1.30pm.

The race is open to runners of all abilities who are over the age of 15.

Entry is available on the day, so its not too late to enter.

The members of Seapark AC have been busy competing at various races lately. 

Quite a few of our runners took part in a 2.5 mile forest trail race organised by East Antrim Harriers, results will follow shortly but check out some photographs from the event in our gallery.

Some of our members also took part in the Les Jones Memorial 10k race - results are Reg Kapur 41:02, Marian Mach 47:19 and  Gary Connolly 48:32.

Pauline Smyth also recently ran the Ballynahinch 10k race on 25th April in a time of  54:10.

The members of seapark ac took to the streets of Belfast on May Day to take part in the Belfast marathon and marathon relay event. Three members ran the full 26.2 mile distance - Gary Davison with a time of 3:16:35, Andrew Crothers finishing his marathon in a great time of 3:54:53 and Colin coming in with a good time of 5:18:25.
Seapark also entered 4 teams in the relay event this year - Seapark “A” mens teams completed the distance with a time of 3:04:11, the second male team completed the event in 3:25:26. Two ladies teams also entered finishing with times of 3:36:28 and 4:08:12. A great effort by everyone involved!

Congratulations to the Seapark AC members who took part in the London Marathon. Results are as follows - Rob Gordon 3:27:53, Bobbie Irvine 3:49:08 and Donal McKeown 4:57:44. Well done guys!

Seaparkac recently took part in one of the 3 series races of University of Ulster 5k races.  Results are as follows - Reg Kapur: 19.15, Marrian Mack: 22.28 and our newest member Vicky Hamilton: 29.40
